SINS IV AGES Parts Ways With Drummer, Announces Replacement
January 9, 2011SINS IV AGES, the new band featuring Swedish musicians Mats Nilsson (MARYSCREEK) and Jesper Johansson (ex-MORIFADE),has issued the following update:
"We've replaced our former drummer Kim Gustavsson with Mike Cameron Force (ex-ZONATA, ENBOUND, THE GRAND STATION).
"Due to the fact that Kim was leaving Sweden for a job and living in Norway, we weren't able to work and getting things done the way we wanted like pushing the band in its right direction. So therefore we decided on parting ways with him and look for a replacement in a steady permanent member. There are no hard feelings between us, we're still friends and we wish Kim all the best of luck in his future endeavors and thanks him for his time in the band."
"After a long search, periods of frustration and a couple of additions during the past year without finding the right one, we finally came in contact with Mike, who did an amazing impact on us. With his personality, musical creativity, skills as a drummer, knowledge in production and that he also lives near the rest of us made him an obvious choice for the band."
SINS IV AGES in 2009 announced the addition of bassist Roger Blomberg (DENATA, FREEVIL) to the group's ranks.
According to SINS IV AGES' official bio, the band's musical direction revolves around "great tunes without borders and no specific metal genres in mind. With Mats from a more hard rock- and AOR-oriented musical background and Jesper from the modern, technical, power semi-progressive side of metal, [the final result] is a very fresh, interesting and original-sounding mixture."
